BUSINESS DIRECTOR
Responsibilities:
- Grow the existing team of consultants through recruitment and marketing
- Mentor new consultants and go on joint meetings to ensure new consultants are well equipped with the necessary advisory skills
- Motivate team members, work closely with other teams and their members to help achieve sales revenue targets as a Group
- Managing sales team in both Corporate and Consumer segments
- Actively developing new platforms for consultants to partake in to generate leads
- Grow existing portfolio by cross selling to existing clientele or negotiating for better packages with insurers to swing renewal of policies to them.
- Participate in marketing and client servicing activities to build good relationship with your clientele and also upscale Raffles’ Provident’s branding.
- Comply with Raffles Provident sales process, including regular sales activity and branding standards
- To build strong working relationship with insurers and understand their guidelines and be updated about changes
- Always ensure that client’s interests and needs are placed as priorit
Requirements:
- University degree and/ or a professional qualification
- Minimum of 3 years working experience at a Director Level in Insurance Industry
- Proven record of sales success
- Resourceful, innovative and lateral thinker
- Highly articulate, an effective communicator and self motivated
- Possess excellent leadership qualities as well as an excellent team player
- Confidence to present to audiences / decision makers
- Strong computer/systems literacy including Word and PowerPoint skills
- Possession of General Insurance Certs (ComGI, PGI, BCP) & CMFAS Health Insurance is a bonus·
